The areas of the region differ, and the choice of area shapes the event: Belek for large congresses, incentives and golf; Lara-Kundu for easy airport access and busy meeting schedules; Antalya City for city events; Kemer for resort events, nature and incentives; Side, Manavgat and Alanya for resort events and incentive programmes further east. Group size
From small executive groups to large conferences. Resort hotels with their own convention centres can accommodate a large group and host the event in one place.
Getting there
Antalya Airport (AYT) handles scheduled and charter flights, and Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport (GZP) is closer to Alanya. Transfer times depend on the hotel's location, the route and traffic, so we assess them for each programme.
Meeting and event venues
Resort convention centres and ballrooms in Belek and Lara, city hotels and historic venues in Antalya City, and resort hotels in Kemer, including some with halls for group events.
Incentive and gala options
Beach and private-venue gala dinners, boat trips, golf in Belek, mountain and canyon activities, and visits to the region's ancient sites.
Best seasons
Spring and autumn are especially suited to meetings and incentives. Winter is quieter; summer is the peak leisure season.
Things to plan for
In the summer peak, venues and rooms need to be booked early, and outdoor programmes must take the heat into account.
